A screenwriter for the “Star Trek” and “Transformers” series has been accused of beating and sexually assaulting his wife in a lawsuit filed Monday.
Actress Adele Heather Taylor, who has appeared in films such as “The Blacklist” and “Hawaii Five-O,” has accused her husband, writer Roberto Orci, of emotional and verbal abuse, battery and rape in her divorce lawsuit, Variety reports. ReportsThe lawsuit alleges that O'Shea was in an alcoholic rage and called Taylor a “slut” and a “whore,” dragged her around the house and punched her.
Taylor alleges that O'Shea chased her into her yard and threatened to rape her in May 2022. Taylor then alleges that O'Shea raped her in the yard the following month, telling her he would “enjoy being raped,” according to the lawsuit.

Taylor alleges that O'Shea called police on her before the incident after she tried to fight back in 2020. Taylor was arrested during the incident and O'Shea posted bail, but the case continues. (Related article: Marvel star's husband convicted of sex with 13-year-old girl)
The two split after another argument in December 2022, in which Taylor was allegedly recorded threatening to hit Olshey. “You can't do anything, baby,” Olshey apparently said in the recording. “I can do whatever I want.” Olshey filed for divorce and obtained a restraining order against Taylor after the December 2022 incident.
Taylor's lawsuit is a counterclaim to O'Shea's original lawsuit, which accused Taylor of repeatedly assaulting O'Shea, Variety continued, including accusations that Taylor shot him with a Taser and pepper spray.
