Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), co-chair of the Harris Waltz campaign, said on MSNBC's “All In” on Wednesday that while the Republican Party once stood for law and order, former President Donald Trump's MAGA wing “never was that.”
“We started off the show reporting on an altercation that took place at Arlington National Cemetery, where the former president had brought a campaign videographer,” host Chris Hayes said.
he asked. “I'm curious to see your reaction.”
“I mean, these guys are doing the same old thing. They don't follow the rules. They don't follow the laws. And honestly, anybody that tries to enforce rules on them, they literally just push them aside and act as if they're fine,” Crockett said.
She continued, “It's really unfortunate that someone, especially someone who is trying to become the most powerful person in the world, literally has no understanding of basic norms. This is not the party of law and order. I think we all know that the Republican Party may have once been that, but MAGA is definitely not.”
“My district is certainly not going to vote for Donald Trump,” Crockett added.
