Video taken at an apartment in Aurora, Colorado, shows a group of men with guns breaking into the apartment, which has been reportedly occupied by the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.
The video is, South Koreashows five men, four of whom were carrying guns, banging on the door of a home at the Edge at Raleigh, before the door appears to open from the inside before the men enter the apartment.
“No one is helping the Americans trapped in these apartments.”
Another video, apparently taken earlier, shows two men standing outside the same residence, one of whom can be seen using a hammer to break the deadbolt lock on the door.
The apartment door appears to have been swapped between the two videos.
KDVR reported that illegal immigrants had taken over the facility, and it has since become a hotbed of criminal activity.
A resident who recorded the video said a shootout had broken out at the complex shortly before the gunmen were filmed, leaving one person seriously injured and damaging several vehicles.
Former residents Cindy and Edward Romero told KDVR that living at the Aurora Complex had become a “nightmare.”
The Romeros' car was riddled with bullet holes during a shootout earlier this month.
The couple said they struggled to get help from local organizations to move out, but were ultimately able to do so thanks to Aurora City Councilman Daniel Jurinski.
“The city's nonprofits have stepped up to help the immigrants who have come here, but no one is helping the Americans who are stuck in these apartment complexes,” Jurinski told KDVR.
“This is not just an issue for Americans. Other Venezuelans are being blackmailed by these gangs,” she added.
Jurinski said the TDA has taken control of the apartment complex.
Jurinski said. Fox News Digital“Getting the media and other elected officials throughout the Denver metropolitan area to acknowledge that this trend exists and that there's a problem has been like pulling teeth.”
The city of Aurora previously passed a resolution not to provide resources to illegal immigrants coming into the city. But Denver, a sanctuary city about nine miles away, spends a lot of taxpayer money on illegal immigrants. Denver's promise of help is drawing even more people to the area, which are then funneling into Aurora.
The Aurora Police Department formed a special task force to “specifically address concerns” about TDA and “other criminal activity impacting immigrant communities.”
The city acknowledged it was “gathering increasing evidence that gangs are involved in crime in the area,” but city officials said the TDA's influence was “isolated.”
A large influx of illegal immigrants into the Denver and Aurora areas has increased costs and Homeless.
Recent vote The survey found that Colorado residents' top concern is the local cost of living, followed by homelessness, health care costs, drug overdoses, crime, mental health, jobs and the economy, and illegal immigration.
“This year's Pulse Poll results show that Coloradans don't just see housing as a problem — they see it as a crisis,” said Dave Metz, president of Democratic-leaning FM3 Research.
