Kamala Harris continues to refuse to do live interviews without the cooperation of her running mate, Tim Walz, as her first debate with former President Trump approaches.
And Trump doesn't seem worried at all.
“I have reached an agreement with the Radical Left Democrats for a debate with Comrade Kamala Harris. The debate will be broadcast live on Tuesday, September 10th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the most vicious and unfair news anchor in the business, ABC Fake News,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
“The rules will be the same as the last CNN debate, which seemed to work well for everyone last time, except maybe unscrupulous Joe Biden,” he continued.
Trump also confirmed that the debates would be “standing up” and that candidates would not be allowed to bring notes or “cheat sheets.”
But Trump said Ms Harris had declined to appear on Fox News' debate on September 4, but that he was leaving the debate open “in case she changes her mind or reverses some of the policy beliefs that she has held for many years”.
It was previously thought that microphones would be muted during the September 10 debate, but it has now been reported that, unlike the CNN debate between Trump and Biden, both microphones will be unmuted.

“How embarrassing and how weak this woman is, running for president of the United States, the highest office in the land, and yet she can't even go to an interview with a friendly network, a friendly network, by the way, without Tim Walz in her lap, and she can't even go to a debate without sitting down with her notes,” Gonzalez said.

“Meanwhile, Donald Trump is doing an interview with Theo Von where he talks about cocaine and prostitutes,” Landau said, adding, “But what I like about him is he answers questions very quickly.”
“And she still hasn't answered the question,” he continued. “Just give us one policy. I know she's flip-flopped on the border wall, but just tell me honestly what you're going to do. Just one. Just one. And then we'll know what your policy actually is.”
