On Thursday's broadcast of NewsNation's “The Hill,” Quentin Fulks, chief deputy campaign manager for the Harris-Waltz campaign, said he doesn't think Vice President Kamala Harris, the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, has any regrets. Suing the Obama Administration “The Vice President has always stood by his values and will continue to do so as President of the United States.”
host Blake Berman asked.[F]”A big issue for many in western Pennsylvania is when Kamala Harris was the Attorney General of California, she sued the Obama-Biden Administration to block fracking off the coast of California. Does she now believe that was a mistake?”
Fulks responded, “I think the vice president has now stated where he stands on fracking. I think it's important for our campaign to make sure that the reason Republicans are bringing this up, and the reason Donald Trump is trying to use this issue, is to cover up the fact that they're giving tax breaks to big oil and gas companies at the expense of the middle class. And at the end of the day, the vice president has always said that he represents the people. So when it comes to her values, she stands in court every day and she said that Kamala Harris represents the people. So at the end of the day, she's going to make sure that no matter what policies are put in place, middle class families and working families in this country are not going to be ripped off by big oil and gas companies. And I think that's a very strong contrast to Donald Trump, but to your point that she feels like she got it wrong, I don't think so. I think the vice president has always stuck to his values and he's going to continue to do that as president of the United States.”
