This is in regards to Matthew Perry's “Friends” sweater being auctioned.
Props and costumes from the hit comedy-drama will be put up for auction The event will be held on September 23rd to commemorate the program's 30th anniversary.
The hottest bid was for a cashmere sweater worn by the ill-fated actor Perry while playing Chandler Bing.

The pre-sale price was $1,500, but prices are sure to skyrocket following Perry's death from a drug overdose in Los Angeles on October 28 and the arrest of his doctor and drug dealer in early August.
“Turquoise 100% cashmere polo-style sweater with long sleeves and two buttons down the front. Label reads 'Autumn Cashmere. Size Large,'” the lot description reads.

“Chandler appears in the sweater in season 7, episode 10, 'The Holiday Armadillo Episode,' in the scene in Central Perk where Monica tells Bing she's not changing her last name,” Chandler said. Julien's Auctionswhich is hosting the sale. “And then there was the time Phoebe brought her late mother's Christmas candy dish — a human skull — to her pals' holiday party.”
