As former President Trump and Vice President Harris prepare for the final 10 weeks until Election Day, with both looking to win strong victories in close elections and persuade undecided voters, Harris just wrapped up her first in-person interview with CNN's Dana Bash, offering some insight into what she'll do early in her term if elected in November.
Trump said Thursday that if elected, he would not only protect in vitro fertilization (IVF), but also get the government and insurance companies to cover the cost of it.
Two Republican senators are scheduled to appear on separate talk shows this week, likely to address Trump's recent comments about IVF and discuss the incident that occurred during the former president's campaign visit to Arlington National Cemetery on Monday.
Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina will appear on ABC's “This Week” to discuss President Trump's pledge to protect IVF and have insurers or the government pay for women who undergo the treatment, as well as Harris' first television interview since becoming the party's presidential nominee.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) is scheduled to appear on NBC's “Meet the Press” to discuss President Trump's visit to Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, where two of Trump's staff members reportedly “shoved” cemetery staff members.
Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) is expected to appear on “Fox News Sunday” to discuss Harris' first sit-down interview and offer an insight into the final stages of the election.
Both Trump and Harris are seeking to win the support of union members in the final week of the White House race.
Teamsters President Sean O'Brien will appear on CBS' “Face the Nation” to discuss whether the union has decided who it will support for president.
Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who endorsed Trump this week, will appear on CNN's “State of the Union” to presumably discuss why she supported the former president and talk about the upcoming debate on ABC News on Sept. 10.
Former Trump administration national security adviser H.R. McMaster will appear on “The Hill” on Sunday to presumably discuss his upcoming book and talk about his time serving in the 45th presidential administration.
The performer list for this Sunday's show is as follows:
ABC's “This Week” — Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Governor Jared Polis (D-CO)
