Trump Rips Kamala for Questionable Claim She Worked at McDonald’s

Former President Trump slammed current Vice President Kamala Harris for making a dubious claim that she once worked at McDonald's.

Speaking at a Mothers for Freedom rally in Washington, D.C. on Friday, President Trump told the crowd, “She also said, 'She worked at McDonald's,' but it turns out she didn't work at McDonald's.”

“Did anyone see that?” he added. “After about 20 minutes of thorough investigation, it was determined she never worked there.”

Another piece of news comes from Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations. Reported On Friday, the campaign abruptly announced that it would “stop discussing her work history at McDonald's and will not respond to media inquiries seeking proof of her employment at McDonald's.”

It's still not clear whether Kamala worked at McDonald's while in college, as she has repeatedly claimed. Here's what we know…

The Washington Free Beacon did extensive investigative journalism and found no evidence that Kamala ever worked at McDonald's, including on a job application she filled out as a law student that asked her to list every place she'd worked for the past 10 years. Her job at McDonald's would have fallen into that past 10 years. She listed everything, but not her job at McDonald's.

It turns out Harris never mentioned this highly relatable summer job before she ran for president in 2019. It doesn't appear anywhere in her two memoirs or in her pre-2019 campaign documents.

So far, at least, the Harris campaign has refused more than one request to substantiate McDonald's claims. The Free Beacon waited two weeks for a response.

It's no secret that Kamala has been using McDonald's allegations to her advantage for the past five years. here and here), and it gets even harder during a presidential election. See below.

All we really know is that the fake corporate media elevated Kamala's McDonald's claims to legendary status without verifying her claims. These gerbils are something else…

  • ABC News: “Harris' 'working class' McDonald's experience highlighted at DNC, on campaign trail.”
  • Independent“Kamala Harris could make history as the first president to work at McDonald's.”
  • The Washington Post“Kamala Harris is one of many Americans who has worked at McDonald's.”
  • Business Insider“10 Successful CEOs, Politicians, & More Who Worked at McDonald's, From Kamala Harris to Jeff Bezos”
  • From CNLOL“McDonald's has become a powerful symbol of the Democratic Party.”

Well, if she says she wants to ban fossil fuels, take away health insurance, defund the police, open borders to the third world, decriminalize illegal immigration, ban fracking, censor speech, and empty prisons, so what? She's just like you and me!

Is it possible that the Harris campaign is playing chess? Perhaps they're watching new media questions arise about the veracity of Kamala's McDonald's claims, tweaking their mustaches and saying: We will remain silent until Trump makes it an issue, then we will prove she worked at McDonalds and make him laugh!

Of course, anything is possible.

But Trump is also playing his own chess game. By bringing up the issue, he is forcing the corporate media to investigate. If he had said nothing, despite very legitimate doubts about the central claims of her biography, the corporate media would have ignored it and covered for her until it went away. Now they can't, and this may not end well for CacklyMcNeverBorderCzar.

And this isn't some media scumbag who can neatly whitewash and appropriate it like Tim Waltz's stolen fame: she either worked at McDonald's or she didn't, and if she didn't…

Politicians lie. All of us. But… voters don't care about lies. They care about competence, and if this is really a ridiculously stupid lie, like Kamala's disastrous CNN interview on Thursday night, it will damage her.
