Shooting at Michigan State Fair leaves 1 teenager dead, another teenager wounded

One teenager was killed and another was injured in a shooting at the Michigan State Fair Saturday night, police said.

According to the Novi Police Department, two 14-year-old boys were shot and killed in the parking lot of the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, shortly before 10 p.m.

The boys were taken to a local hospital, where one of them died from his injuries.

Police are continuing to search for the suspect but have not released any information about him.

No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, but police believe the gunman knew the victim and that the shooting was targeted. Reported by WXYZ.

Witnesses told the outlet that they heard gunshots and ran out.

“We were all trying to get somewhere,” one witness said.
