Man Wanted After Machete Attack on NYC Subway

The 54-year-old man is accused of attacking another man with a machete while riding the Bronx subway just after 1 a.m. Saturday.

Police sources said the suspect, identified as Lunadieo Jordan, is wanted after the incident happened on northbound Platform 2 near the Allerton Avenue station. Reported Sunday.

The suspect was confronted by a man in his early 30s and an argument ensued, and minutes later, police said, the suspect pulled a machete and severely slashed the alleged victim's arm and hand before fleeing the scene.

Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

“Police say Jordan is 54 years old and has a slim build. Images and video released by the NYPD show him wearing a gray baseball cap with a red and white logo on the front, black sunglasses, a black face mask, a blue short-sleeved shirt over a dark T-shirt, cream pants, black shoes and carrying a large black bag,” the AMNY article reported.

In June 2022, Jordan faced hate crime charges after he was accused of committing a stabbing on a Bronx train and using “homophobic slang” while speaking to the victim. New York Post Reported at that time.

“Police say Jordan allegedly hurled homophobic slurs at the 31-year-old victim before stabbing him in the right arm with a 'sharp object' and fleeing the train,” the media reported.

In May, a man was stabbed in New York City's famous Times Square, and police sources said three suspects armed with machetes targeted the victim, according to Breitbart News.

The suspect was eventually arrested, and the victim was stabbed in both legs and taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
