Mega Millions jackpot rises to $740 million after no grand prize winner

The winning numbers drawn on Tuesday were 12, 41, 43, 52 and 55, with the Mega Ball being 9. The Megaplier was 4x.

No one won the estimated $681 million jackpot Tuesday night, but players in Kansas and Michigan won $1 million by hitting all five white balls.

The next Mega Millions drawing will take place on Friday, when players will have a shot at winning an estimated $740 million grand prize. Cash Options The prize, worth $366.3 million, will be the seventh-largest jackpot ever if won on Friday.

Winners can choose to receive their cash prize instead of a Mega Millions annuity, which is paid as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments.

According to the game, your odds of winning the grand prize are 1 in 302,575,350.

The last Mega Millions jackpot was won on June 4, when a player from Illinois matched all six numbers to win $552 million, the 10th largest jackpot in the game's history.
