Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, faced backlash on social media after “liking” a message in support of former President Donald Trump.

“I want to thank the beautiful Brittany Mahomes for her strong defense of me and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful political movement in the history of our country that is now in decline,” Trump wrote.
He went on to criticize the current state of the country, blaming the Biden administration for the chaos he describes.
“What a great couple! See you at the Super Bowl!” he concluded.
Critics of the former president slammed him after they discovered that Brittany Mahomes had “liked” a social media post outlining his campaign pledges for the 2024 election. The exchange was later deleted, according to The Hill.
She slammed her critics in a statement shortly afterwards.
“Let's be honest, being hated as an adult means you have deep-seated issues from childhood that you refuse to heal,” Mahomes wrote on Instagram. “It's impossible to have a fully developed brain and still hate seeing other people doing well.”
