“1000-Lb Sisters” star Amy Slaton was reportedly in possession of magic mushrooms and 80 grams of marijuana when she was arrested at a Tennessee zoo.
Rice San Police obtained a warrant for Slaton's arrest Wednesday. The warrant describes drugs found in Slaton's vehicle during the arrest of Slaton and a male companion, Brian Scott Loveborn, on Monday at Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo.
Slaton, 36, and Loveborn were charged with unlawful possession of Schedule I drugs, unlawful possession of Schedule VI drugs and two counts of child endangerment, according to the Crockett County Sheriff's Office.
Lovebone and Slaton have two children, 3-year-old Gage and 2-year-old Glenn, with ex-husband Michael Halterman, and both children were reportedly in the car with them at the time of their arrest.
The pair were later booked into the Crockett County Jail, where they changed into orange jumpsuits and appeared badly dressed in mugshots.
According to PeopleThe pair were released on $10,000 bail on Tuesday and were seen “holding hands” as they left police custody.
As previously reported, the arrest was preceded by a report of a camel bite.
“Officers were called to the scene after a guest at Safari Park was apparently bitten by a camel,” the Crockett County Sheriff's Office previously shared on Facebook.
“Upon arrival, officers were alarmed by a suspicious odor coming from the customer's vehicle.”
On Tuesday, TMZ obtained photos showing Slaton being taken out of the zoo on a stretcher and grimacing as he was carried by paramedics to an ambulance.
Her right arm was wrapped in a makeshift bandage, apparently made from a T-shirt, and she was reportedly taken to hospital before being transferred to prison.
John Conley, co-owner of Tennessee Safari Park, which features a drive-through safari and walk-through zoo, told the outlet that there was no way Slaton could have been bitten by one of the park's camels.
Conley argued that Slaton's cut, reportedly above the elbow, was not indicative of a camel bite because the skin was torn and split and there was no visible bruising to the tissue.
Conley said no one has ever been bitten by a camel in the park, adding that he had found no security camera footage to support the camel bite claims.
Conley also said the reality TV star couldn't explain where in the park he was bitten.
