The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) announced at a press conference on Wednesday that the suspect in the Apalachee High School attack is a 14-year-old.
The suspect was taken into custody minutes after the active shooter was reported and will be tried as an adult on murder charges.
The GBI said two students and two teachers were killed in the attack.
That same day, Breitbart News reported that before the facts of the shooting became known, Democratic President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and Sen. Raphael Warnock of Georgia had pushed for stricter gun control measures.

The gun control measures pushed by Biden and Harris included storefront gun restrictions, but now that the GBI has released the shooter's age, it's clear he is too young to purchase a gun and therefore too young to be affected by storefront gun restrictions.
“Under the Gun Control Act (GCA), shotguns and rifles, and ammunition for shotguns and rifles, may only be sold to individuals 18 years of age or older,” says the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). Notes“All firearms other than shotguns and rifles, and all ammunition other than ammunition for shotguns or rifles, may only be sold to individuals 21 years of age or older.”
