Rob Gronkowski is excited for the new NFL season in 2024 as an analyst for “NFL on FOX.”
Before returning to the studio for the show, Gronkowski, the former superstar tight end for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, spent some time in front of the camera in a different role: He was one of several former Patriots stars who teamed up with Tostitos to film a commercial to mark the start of the season.

For Gronkowski, reuniting with Julian Edelman to work on the ad was a joy, but he also acknowledged in an interview with Fox News Digital that the two struggled to stay focused.
“At first we were just laughing like little schoolgirls, messing with each other all the time, like elementary school kids. That's how Julian and I were for the first 30 minutes on set,” he said. “No matter what he said or did, I couldn't do anything. [something]I giggle at him, and he giggles at me when I do the dance moves and movements that I do in the commercial for the first dance recital.
“And then finally, we have to calm down. We have to calm each other down, so we don't laugh at each other so much, and then we can finally film the commercial.”

Gronkowski said that's why he likes working with Edelman.
“We know what to expect from each other and we know we'll give it our best every time we're on the field together.”
Gronkowski told Fox News Digital that he's just a regular guy when it comes to eating Tostitos — he's your typical chips-and-dip kind of guy.
Gronkowski, Edelman and Tom Brady star in a commercial celebrating Tostitos becoming the official chip and dip brand of the NFL, though scheduling conflicts meant Gronkowski and Brady couldn't film the commercial together.

The ad will begin during the Patriots' Week 1 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
