good morning, WNBA Hey fans! The results of last night's two games were a win for the Liberty over the Storm and a win for the Mystics over the Mercury.
Eight teams will be in action tonight as the WNBA season draws to a close.

A'ja Wilson is playing the best game of her career as the Las Vegas Aces win three straight games. Wilson is averaging 28.4 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks over her last 10 games.
The Suns are 6-4 in their last 10 games and currently sit second in the WNBA standings. Since the suspension, the Suns have been led on offense by DeWanna Bonner (14.3 ppg on 36.7% shooting), Marina Mabry (14 ppg on 45.7% shooting) and Breonna Jones (13.7 ppg on 50.7% shooting).
The Minnesota Lynx (24-9) will visit the Indiana Fever (17-16) at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Lynx and Fever have been two of the strongest teams in the WNBA since the Olympic break, with both teams posting 8-2 records in their last 10 games. As things stand, these two teams will meet in the first round of the playoffs.
The Fever have to expect the Mystics to come into this matchup feeling pretty confident: They're coming off their first playoff appearance in eight years, have won eight of their last 10 games and their backcourt of Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell is quickly establishing themselves as the best team in the game.
Since the Olympic break, Mitchell is averaging 26.7 points per game, second in the league behind A'ja Wilson, while Clark, who was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week the past two weeks, is the league's third-leading scorer, averaging 24.6 points on 47.9 percent shooting and nine assists.
Meanwhile, the Lynx are battling the Sun for the No. 2 seed (both teams have the same record, but the Sun holds the tiebreaker). Napheesa Collier has been outstanding this season, averaging 21.5 points on 55.7% shooting over the past 10 games, while Kayla McBride continues to be a key scoring force.
The Dallas Wings (9-24) will face the Atlanta Dream (11-22) at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Wings and Dream are both in the running to make the playoffs despite their lackluster play this season, but that's because the Chicago Sky (currently in 8th place) continue to lose.
Arike Ogunbowale has been doing well since the Olympic break, averaging 23.8 points and shooting 44.2% from the field, while Sato Sabali has also been good since his return, averaging 19.5 points and shooting 44.1% from the field. However, Dallas is 3-5 since the break and is currently on a two-game losing streak, losing to the Fever and Mystics.
The Dream won three straight games after the break but have since lost five of their last six games. Rhyne Howard (18.7 ppg since the break) and Tina Charles (18.3 ppg, 12.4 rpg) have both been very effective in their roles, but it hasn't been enough for Atlanta to take advantage of the Sky's one win since the Olympic break.
The Los Angeles Sparks (7-26) will face the Chicago Sky (11-22) at 9:30 p.m. ET.

The Sparks and Sky are two underachieving teams that still have a chance at the No. 8 seed (though Los Angeles would have to work pretty hard to get that spot).
Chicago is 1-8 since the break and has struggled, especially without Chennedy Carter, who has been out since Aug. 25 with an illness.
Camila Cardoso is on a roll, averaging 12 points on 57.1% shooting over the past five games, while Angel Reese has struggled offensively since the Olympic hiatus (averaging 12.7 points on 33.9% shooting), but she is also grabbing 16.4 rebounds in that span.
