Sanders was hit hard in the head on the final drive of the game. He managed to finish the drive and score a touchdown to LaJontae Wester. He returned to the locker room before the end of the game. Backup quarterback Ryan Staub entered the game to finish the game.
It is unclear if Sanders was injured on the play. He walked to the locker room on his own and was jeered at as he walked.
