Sinner starts strong, hitting a crushing backhand return before finding himself down 0-30. Fritz wins the first point, which erupts in cheers, but then has two break points. For the second night in a row, Flushing Meadows will be rooting for an American underdog. San Diego's Taylor Fritz has made it to his first Grand Slam final and will face a man capable of giving Carlos Alcaraz a run for his money in the post-Big Three era, but not without controversy. On the court, Sinner will be looking to outmaneuver a daring Brit, Jack Draper, and repeat his win from the Australian Open. Fritz, like Jessica Pegula did last night, will give it her all in front of a star-studded crowd and win. Will it be enough? We're here to find out.
