In the third quarter of Chicago's season opener against the Tennessee Titans, the special teams team, desperate for inspiration while trailing 17-3, blocked a punt, but safety Jonathan Owens quickly picked it up and ran it back for a touchdown.

For the 29-year-old Owens, Sunday's touchdown was just the second of his career and his first in a Bears uniform.
Owens scored his first career touchdown, also on a fumble recovery, in the Packers' 29-22 win over the Lions on Thanksgiving last year.
The veteran safety is in his first season with Chicago after signing a two-year contract with the Bears this offseason. He spent 2023 with Green Bay, where he recorded 84 tackles and one sack.
After going undrafted in 2018, Owens played for the Houston Texans from 2019-2022.
There's been a lot of excitement going on in the Biles-Owens family lately.
The superstar gymnast won four medals at this summer's Olympics, winning gold in the team all-around, individual all-around and vault final, as well as a silver in the floor exercise final.
Owens was in Paris to support the 27-year-old Biles at the Olympics.
He wore his wife's gold medal as a tribute to one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.
Biles and Ornes plan to announce their engagement in early 2022 and marry in the spring of 2023.
The Bears ultimately defeated the Titans 24-17 in the season opener.
