‘Genocidal Maniacs’: Piers Morgan Torches Liberal Streamer Over Dick Cheney’s Harris Endorsement

British journalist Piers Morgan on Monday criticized popular liberal streamer and YouTuber Destiny for trying to justify Vice President Kamala Harris' acceptance of the endorsement of former Republican Vice President Dick Cheney.

Last week, Cheney issued a statement endorsing Harris, saying former President Donald Trump would be a “threat to our republic.” Speaking on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” Morgan asked Destiny if she would accept Cheney's endorsement if she ran for president, as Harris has done. “To run for president? Of course I'm open to any endorsement. Just because someone endorses me doesn't mean I endorse their beliefs,” Destiny said.

“Really? Wow, wow, hold on a second. Would you accept any endorsement? So if Adolf Hitler decided to offer you endorsement, would you accept it?” Morgan asked.

Destiny then argued that “a vote is a vote” and that support does not imply shared beliefs, but Morgan interrupted, asking if she would “literally enlist Adolf Hitler's support to win power?”

When Destiny pointed out that Hitler was dead, Morgan asked whether she would accept endorsement from a “living person” like North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

“Dick Cheney and [Harris] “She made a statement saying she was proud that Dick Cheney endorsed her, which I found surprising given that Cheney has been a figure who has been hated by liberals, progressive liberals, for over 30 years. Here we have one of the most progressive, or most progressive liberal, Democratic candidates in the history of the American presidency saying she's proud that Dick Cheney endorsed her,” Morgan said.

clock:

“So my question to you was a frivolous one to begin with: Would you accept it if Hitler endorsed a candidate? You said absolutely. [You] “I didn't argue, but you said, 'But he's dead,' and I said, 'What about Kim Jong Un or Xi Jinping or Vladimir Putin or Khomeini?' I mean, if you accept these endorsements with pride, at what point does it become a disgraceful assassination of your own integrity?” Morgan asked.

Destiny continued to push back against the host, calling the question “nonsense” and explaining how former Republican Texas congressman Ron Paul was asked a similar question about his endorsement.

“This is a nonsense question. I remember Ron Paul being asked the same question in 2008. When I was a young college student, I was a libertarian. I think it was the KKK or some other organization. They [and] They were endorsing Ron Paul, and people were asking, “Ron Paul, would you disavow your endorsement from a leader of the KKK?” Ron Paul said, “If people want to vote for me, that's fine. I'm not going to tell people not to vote for me. Just because someone supports me doesn't mean I support all of their opinions.” Do you agree with this?

“Sorry, but no. If the KKK wants to support me I will publicly denounce the support and say I want nothing to do with it. That's what you call a civilized person. Destiny, correct me if I'm wrong, but you seem to think that any support that helps people gain power is totally fine, even if the person they're supporting is a genocidal maniac,” Morgan replied.

The Democratic Party Heavy Criticized Cheney's role in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, which began when she was vice president under former President George W. Bush, was criticized by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in 2019. state He “lied about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and got us into a terrible war that should never have been started.”
