Police body camera footage from the detention of Tyreek Hill ahead of the Dolphins' home opener on Sunday showed officers discussing his occupation.
One of the officers, who had apparently seen Hill's ID, questioned his colleague about the receiver's actions in the video, which showed Hill nearby, face-down on the ground and handcuffed for a suspected speeding violation before Miami's win over Jacksonville on Sunday.
“Why is he acting like that?” one of the officers asked, as Hill could be heard yelling in the background. “You know who that is, right?”
Warning: explicit language
The other officer replied, “No?”
“That's one of the Dolphins' stars,” the officer said, pointing in Hill's direction.
“Yeah, right? Damn it,” said the other officer.
Multiple officers were on scene when Hill was stopped and detained outside Hard Rock Stadium on his way to the start of the new season.

Hill was taken into custody for “driving in a manner that placed himself and others at extreme risk,” the South Florida Police Benevolent Association said in a statement.
Hill was handcuffed for “not immediately cooperating,” according to the PBA.
According to ESPN's Jeff Darlington, Hill received two traffic tickets for careless driving and a seat belt violation. Reported Monday.

The 30-year-old wide receiver previously explained he didn't know why he was handcuffed and dragged from his car, and that he was just being respectful of the officers.
“The minute they pulled up behind me and knocked on my window, it went from zero to 60,” Hill told NBC News on Monday night.
During the incident, Hill told police, “Okay, take me to jail. Do what you have to do.”

In police body camera footage, officers can be heard telling Hill to “stop crying” and “do as we say.”
Other footage showed an officer knocking on the driver's side window of the man's black sports car and ordering him to roll it down.
One of the officers at the scene has been placed on administrative leave, and the Miami-Dade Police Department launched an internal investigation into the incident on Sunday.
Hill performed a handcuff celebration after scoring an 80-yard touchdown in the Dolphins' 20-17 win Sunday.
The Dolphins have just a short week left before playing the Bills at home on Thursday.
