“I did my research and I made a choice. Your research is yours and your choice is yours. I will put links to where to register and early voting dates and info in my stories.”

Swift signed the post, “Taylor Swift, childfree cat lady,” paying tribute to Trump's vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance, who said in a 2021 interview, “This country is effectively run by childfree cat ladies, through the Democrats and the corporate oligarchy, who are miserable about their lives and the choices they've made, so they want to make the whole country miserable too.”
Within minutes, the post had garnered more than 2 million likes.
