During Tuesday's debate, former President Donald Trump joked that he was going to send Vice President Kamala Harris a “MAGA hat” in response to her changing certain policy stances.

Trump made the remarks in response to Harris' shifting views since the 2019 presidential election to more closely align with his own.
“Everything she believed in three, four years ago is gone. She now follows my philosophies. In fact, I was going to send her a MAGA hat,” Trump said, to which Harris responded with a laugh.
He went on to call Harris a “Marxist” and nickname her “Comrade Kamala.”
but, CNN, “My values haven't changed,” Harris said.
She said her overall goals, such as tackling climate change and securing the southern border, have remained the same throughout her career.
