Amazing body camera footage released on Friday shows a police dog in Washington state helping officers apprehend a nude suspect.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest and described the footage in a press release titled “K9 Bronco vs. Naked Man.” Without naming the suspect, authorities said the incident began on the morning of August 11 when deputies “attempted to make contact with a male who was asleep in a stolen F550.”
“[H]”He fled, leading officers on a pursuit into King County,” the press release stated, “Washington State Police took over the pursuit into Snohomish County, where he continued south to Seattle, crashed and fled on foot.”
The suspect had left his girlfriend and 4-year-old son in the stolen vehicle, and the sheriff's office said they quickly located the man, who had multiple felony arrest warrants and was “known to be in possession of firearms.”

Authorities encountered the couple again after officers found the stolen vehicle on Aug. 21. When police began a traffic stop, the suspect and his girlfriend refused to cooperate with authorities.
Body camera footage shows the situation quickly escalating as an officer puts a bullet hole in the back window of the stolen vehicle.
“Officers used 40mm non-lethal rounds to create a hole in the rear window of the vehicle,” the sheriff's office explained. “The woman began screaming. [that] She was dressed.”

“A short time later, the suspect exited the vehicle and fled on foot naked,” the Pierce County Sheriff's Office added. “The suspect hopped multiple fences before deputies lost sight of him.”
Body camera footage shows an officer yelling, “He's running naked! He's over the fence!” as a team of officers rush into the backyard. A dog is then seen sniffing around a trash can, where the suspect was found.
“He was subsequently taken into custody without any escape attempt,” the press release added. “The suspect continued to attempt to elude police pursuit until he was confronted by a police K9 Bronco. With nothing but his bare hands, he finally made the wise decision to surrender to our officers.”
