A New Jersey pervert is giving new meaning to “naked aggression.”
Police say a naked man has been seen masturbating in front of women outside a South Brunswick apartment in a spate of brazen crimes, sometimes happening in broad daylight.
This creepy guy has made a habit of stripping off his clothes and approaching women near the Royal Oaks apartment complex in Monmouth Junction in recent months.
South Brunswick police say he masturbated in front of as many as six women at the complex and in a nearby wooded area.
Local police say the sex offender has a history of regularly wandering around naked between 11pm and 2.30am, hiding out on the side of an apartment building next to a wooded area to allow for a quick getaway.
However, police say the man has become more emboldened as he continues to go unpunished for his lewd acts.
His latest offence occurred on Tuesday at around 4.30pm and police say it is a worrying departure from his usual pattern of nocturnal sexual behaviour.
“We really need the public's assistance in identifying the perpetrator,” said Deputy Chief Jim Ryan with the South Brunswick Police Department. “His behavior is escalating.”
The man is described as being 6 feet tall, with dreadlocks or braids, and wearing only flip-flops and a ski mask or hoodie throughout the incidents.
Police say the individual has not made any contact with people he has encountered so far.
Deputy Chief Ryan believes there may be other victims who have not yet come forward.
Police released screenshots from security cameras and said additional video and photo evidence would be released at a later date.
Neighbors of the Royal Oaks Apartments on Route 1 are being asked by police to check their doorbell camera footage for footage of a man they may have seen.
