A person who appears to be a Panera Bread employee is seen on video hitting an unruly customer with a frying pan while trying to break up a violent brawl at one of the chain's locations in Colorado.
According to KDVR, video of the incident, which happened at a Panera in Glendale on Tuesday, begins with a person knocking an item off the counter and then appearing to tell a staff member in the back, “Give me your phone!”
“Hey, come on, get out of here,” a passerby can be heard telling the man, who then turns around and yells racial slurs at him.
The customer then again asked for her phone, to which the woman replied: “No one has your phone.”

“Hey, grow up, stop it, get out of here,” a male voice said, as customers began knocking over more items.
The customer then begins to walk towards the register, and a male passerby can be seen pushing the customer from behind, before turning around and shoving the customer to the ground, engaging in a physical fight with a third person in the restaurant.
During the scuffle, a woman wearing a green apron, believed to be a Panera employee, is seen hitting an unruly customer with a frying pan.
“Call this guy to the police,” the man says.

“The second man did everything he could to try and hold the guy down and stop him from attacking further,” Natalie Wiersma, a witness who recorded the video, told KDVR.
“He's my personal hero,” she said of the frying pan-wielding worker.
“I think it's been very effective,” Wiersma added.
Glendale police told the station that one person suffered minor injuries during the incident and that the customer who left the store has not yet been found.

Panera Bread and Glendale Police did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Fox News Digital on Thursday.
