Taylor Swift has captured the hearts of millions of young women with songs about always making the wrong choices, so it's no surprise that she endorsed Kamala Harris for president in a post-debate Instagram post.
“I will be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz for President in 2024,” Swift wrote. “I am voting for Kamala Harris because she is fighting for rights and causes, and I believe we need warriors to defend them,” she continued.
“I think she is a poised and talented leader. I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led with calm rather than chaos. I am so encouraged and impressed that she chose @timwalz as her running mate, who has been a champion for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women's body rights for decades.”
Swift then ended the letter with a criticism of Trump's running mate, J.D. Vance, writing, “With love and hope, Taylor Swift, the childfree cat lady.”
Her post predictably fooled millions of people, but Megyn Kelly was not among them.
“Taylor and her boyfriend Travis Kelsey are the epitome of elitist snobbism. She doesn't care what happens to kids, just as he doesn't care what happens to young people who get the Pfizer booster shot he's recommending,” Kelly said angrily.
“I think he is completely ignorant of the fact that myocarditis is taking the lives of young men in this country who never needed the vaccine, let alone a booster shot in the first place,” she continued, launching into a very forceful tirade.
“Where will he be when these boys suffer heart injuries that lead to heart attacks and in some cases death? They will be sitting in their mansions in Rhode Island, California and New York, flying around the world saying, 'Let them eat cake,' because they are too absorbed in money and concerts and football games and their own holiness to think about the people who are hurting.”
Dave Rubin was so impressed with Kelly's speech that he commented, “Yes, that's exactly right.”
