Georgia cornerback Danielle Harris is the latest Bulldog football player to be arrested while driving.
The sophomore defensive back was arrested Thursday night for going 106 mph on a wet road – 41 mph over the speed limit – and charged with reckless driving, according to an Athens-Clarke County police incident report reviewed by The Washington Post.
Harris was charged with five misdemeanor driving offenses.
Harris was booked into the Clark County Jail at approximately 10:40 p.m. and released on $50 bail at 11:49 p.m.
According to multiple reportsHarris was speeding in a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee on the College Station Road on-ramp to Georgia Highway 10 around 8 p.m.
Additionally, Harris' vehicle registration expired on March 8 and the temporary plates expired on August 4, both of which were long before the incident.
Harris was also charged with driving without insurance and not wearing a seat belt.

Since the fatal accident in January 2023 that killed offensive lineman Devin Willock and staff member Chandler LeCroy, more than 20 people have been arrested or charged with speeding, racing and reckless driving in connection to the program.
Coach Kirby Smart spoke about the series of arrests in July.
“The incident that occurred off the field is not something we can tolerate,” Smart said at SEC Media Day. “It's very disappointing, and I think disappointing is the right word. I always talk about process and results, and I've talked about wins and losses and trying not to judge things based on the outcome, wins and losses. In this situation, the outcome is very disappointing.”
