PA Supreme Court says undated and misdated ballots will be rejected in victory for election integrity

The Republican Party decision The Pennsylvania Supreme Court called it a victory for voter integrity, but opponents say it could disenfranchise some voters.

The court said that undated or incorrectly dated ballots in the upcoming election will not be counted, and that undated or incorrectly dated ballots will not be counted.

“This makes mail-in voting in the Keystone State less susceptible to fraud.”

Republicans said the ruling would make it harder to commit voter fraud in key battleground states, while those on the left say the rule would likely lead to Democratic votes being unfairly thrown out.

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley Praised Order via social media.

“Big win for election integrity in Pennsylvania. Republican National Committee and [the Pennsylvania Republican Party]”The Pennsylvania Supreme Court rejected Democrats' attempt to count undated ballots,” Whatley wrote.

“This will make mail-in voting in the Keystone State less susceptible to fraud. We will keep fighting, and we will keep winning!” he added.

Seniors lawyer The ACLU of Pennsylvania denounced the ruling.

“Today's procedural ruling is a setback for Pennsylvania voters, but we will continue to fight for them,” said Steve Roney. “Voters who submitted their ballots on time should have their vote counted and their voice heard. The fundamental right to vote is one of the most precious rights we Pennsylvanians enjoy, and it will take more than a minor paperwork error to take it away.”

The nonpartisan group said up to 4,400 mail-in ballots were rejected in the state's primary election due to date issues.
