Kamala Harris was quick to capitalize on Taylor Swift's endorsement.
The Democratic National Committee and Kamala Harris' campaign have installed a series of digital billboards in New York's Times Square and on the Las Vegas Strip that borrow from Taylor Swift's albums and songs.
“WE ARE IN THE ERA OF KAMALA!” one sign yelled.
“A new way forward… are you ready?” asks another.
The billboards were reportedly installed in New York and Las Vegas on Friday.
Taylor Swift posted on Instagram late Tuesday, apparently in support of Kamala Harris, shortly after the presidential debate. She announced that she would be voting for Kamala, but tempered her enthusiasm by urging her millions of fans to do their own research and vote however they like.
Her support has been muted as Kamala Harris remains unpopular among many young progressive voters over the Gaza war, with anti-Israel progressives protesting her events and last month's Democratic National Convention.
Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris comes after a Hollywood trade magazine Variety He criticized the pop singer for being silent about the 2024 election.
Variety The column explicitly pressured Swift to come off the sidelines, calling her silence “disappointing.”
