Bedfordshire Police said an 18-year-old man has been charged with the murders of a woman and two teenagers whose bodies were found in an apartment in Luton on Friday.
Suspect Nicholas Prosper, of Leabank, Luton, was arrested on Bramingham Road on Friday morning after police discovered the three bodies at an apartment in Leabank, near Wowles Bank Drive, about 5.30am.
The victims are believed to be Julianna Prosper, 48, Kyle Prosper, 16, and Giselle Prosper, 13, but have yet to be formally identified.
Police said Prosper was also charged with “multiple firearm-related offences.”
Detective Superintendent Rob Hall, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Crime Unit, said: “Firstly, my heartfelt condolences go out to the three people and their families who sadly lost their lives yesterday.
“Formal identification is yet to take place but next of kin of those believed to have died have been notified and are being supported by specialist staff. We ask that their privacy be respected at this incredibly difficult time.”
“Following the discovery of the three bodies yesterday we immediately dispatched several officers to the scene and shortly thereafter officers arrested an 18-year-old man who has now been charged with three counts of murder and several firearms-related offences.”
Prosper is due to appear at Luton Magistrates' Court on Monday.
