Pop star Taylor Swift's endorsement of presidential candidate Kamala Harris may not have worked in her favor — and may even have backfired, according to a new poll.
The survey of 1,120 voters was conducted between Sept. 11 and 12 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.8 percentage points. YouGov Poll The survey found that while a majority of voters (66%) said Swift's endorsement doesn't matter, only 8% said Swift's endorsement would make them “somewhat” or “a lot” more likely to vote for Kamala Harris, while 20% said it would make them “somewhat” or “a lot” more likely to vote for former President Donald Trump.
Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for president after the first debate last week, but advised Americans to do their own research, which many probably already are.
“I think the best thing about a football locker room, and the baseball locker rooms I grew up in, is the way people come together for a common goal,” Mahomes said. “If we can do that as a nation, I think we bring out the best in each other. I try to do that every day.”
“When I hang out with other people, I don't think about their political views,” he continued, “I think about how they treat people, and I was with a lot of great people this weekend.”
Despite the polls, there was some good news for Harris as a result of Swift's endorsement. Reports She indicated that she has encouraged more than 400,000 people to register on vote.gov.
