Johnson and Brooke, both 25, went public with their relationship last August when Brooke shared a photo of the couple kissing on the sidelines during the Jets' preseason finale against the Giants at MetLife Stadium.
Johnson said an MRI on Monday revealed he has a torn right Achilles tendon.
“It's official. The MRI results are positive. Well, the information is negative but the results are positive.” He said A video posted to X showed him leaving the Jets' facility on a leg scooter.
“I ruptured my Achilles tendon but I'm OK. I feel great. I'll be back and healthy. This is a great opportunity to brag about my career.”

Johnson is one of the best run defenders on the Jets roster.
His absence puts pressure on the Jets and could affect negotiations with Pro Bowl edge rusher Hasson Reddick, who made a trade request in August that was rejected by the team.
Redick missed training camp and the Jets' first two games of the season.
The Jets (1-1) will have a short week before playing their first division game against the Patriots (1-1) on Thursday at MetLife Stadium.
