A tree fell on a Little League dugout during a game in New Jersey, nearly crushing several children, but miraculously no one was injured.
Video shows the moment a massive tree fell during a game between the Fairhaven Diamonds and Middletown Hammers.
While the Diamonds team was at bat, a tree fell on top of a packed dugout, sending children scrambling to safety.
The Middletown team's coach rushed to evacuate the children to safety, followed by several parents.
Little League teams are primarily made up of kids between the ages of 10 and 11.
“They had some abrasions on the top of their heads, but nothing serious. Paramedics examined them along with the patrol, but they refused medical attention. Their parents were with them and they were subsequently released,” said Lt. Steven Schneider with Fair Haven Police. He told ABC7.
The video shows the sound of the branch breaking just before it falls.

“Looking back at it, it's eerie, nobody was paying attention to the noise,” Middletown coach Garrett Van Alstyne told ABC7.
Van Alstyne's son, who was in the outfield at the time, reportedly bravely ran to the dugout to make sure his opponent was OK. CBS News.
