Prince Charles was included in the official record of a royal event for the first time since completing his cancer treatment.
Kate was featured in the court circular after holding a conference at Windsor Castle on an issue that past aides have described as her life's work – early childhood child development.
On Tuesday, Queen Elizabeth was joined by family members and staff from the Royal Foundation Early Childhood Centre, an organisation she set up to promote and research the issue. It marked the third time that she has been included on the official royal record since her health scare began earlier this year.
A palace circular stated: “The Prince and Princess of Wales, who are co-patrons of the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, held an early childhood meeting at Windsor Castle this afternoon.”
The meeting is understood to have discussed the princess's “Shaping Us” campaign, which the centre launched last year to draw attention to the formative years of a child's life.
Kate recently announced the end of chemotherapy in a video with her family, saying she was focused on “doing what I can to stay cancer-free.”
The princess has been undergoing chemotherapy since February for an undisclosed type of cancer, while King Charles was diagnosed with cancer after being treated for an enlarged prostate and began treatment earlier the same month.
While undergoing treatment, Kate had been working on some tasks behind the scenes and meeting with staff and representatives from the centre, although these were not officially recorded.
She attended the King's Birthday Parade (also known as the Military Colour Procession) in June and presented the Wimbledon men's final trophy to Carlos Alcaraz the following month, both events featured in the court circular.
After newsletter promotion
Prince Charles was also on the official record on Tuesday as he visited No. 22 Special Air Service Unit in Credenhill, Herefordshire.
