Whoopi Goldberg, along with co-host Sunny Hostin, spoke on the talk show “The View” to slam Kansas City Chiefs football player Brittany Mahomes' wife for expressing her support for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on social media.

The latest exchange contradicts Hostin's previous assertions, in which she called it “despicable” that at least 10% of Americans support using violence to stop Trump from retaking the White House in the next election. She cited a poll conducted directly on her show.

Nevertheless, Hostin changed her tune, criticizing Brittany Mahomes for her perceived support of the Republican former president, claiming that she “should know better” since she's in an “interracial marriage,” and bizarrely implying that white people married to people of color (POC) should only vote for Kamala Harris.

Soon after, Hostin's comments were mocked on social platforms, with conservative commentators questioning how she managed to earn a law degree with her ignorant and divisive views.

“I think she should have known it was wrong to support a racist because she's in an interracial marriage. Her children are mixed race and her family is one of those families that couldn't live in Donald Trump's building in the '70s,” Hostin said.

The backlash against Brittany Mahomes, wife of NFL superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, came after she “liked” an Instagram post supporting President Trump and also showed her support for the former president by “liking” a pro-Trump comment on one of her own posts.

“It seems to me that she's not that politically savvy, or maybe she just doesn't know, but it matters,” Hostin continued.

The panel's other moderator, Alyssa Farrah Griffin, also chimed in during the segment, saying she doesn't know for sure if Brittany supports Trump, but that she just “liked” a post that suggested she might.

Additionally, Brittany Mahomes is reportedly reconsidering her support for the former president after he wrote, “I hate Taylor Swift” in a Truth Social post. Mahomes is close friends with Swift and has been spotted at Kansas City Chiefs games with her on multiple occasions.

“She's questioning her support for Donald Trump after he slammed her for hating Taylor,” the source said. Daily Mail Report.

Trump expressed his disdain for Swift after she gave a strong endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris following the recent presidential debate.

“We're doing a really good job because some people might say you're upset because he's upset your best friend,” Goldberg pointed out on the show. “So you didn't care because he's a racist and a misogynist? So you weren't upset? But we're not going to bring that up.”

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes has decided to stay out of the political discussion entirely to avoid any controversy.

“I don't want my position or my platform to be used to endorse any candidate or for any other purpose,” he said. “I see my role as letting people know to register to vote. Let people know to do their own research and make the best decision for themselves and their families.”
