Titans’ Will Levis bombarded with texts after phone number leaks

Will Revis tries to muffle the noise, but the noise ends up finding him.

The Titans quarterback is off to an 0-2 start this season and, to make matters worse, his phone number was leaked and he appears to be receiving a barrage of negative text messages.

“What I'm actually doing today is I got a new phone number. I don't know how my number got out to the fans, but I've been getting a ton of text messages,” Revis told reporters on Wednesday.

“I wish I had kept that part hidden. And I'm not on social media yet. [media] For the last few weeks, I've been thinking that this is the only thing I can do. I don't want to see what people have to say about me, I don't care. I just keep going no matter what they say.

“But it certainly is a shame the world is in this state and I look forward to having some privacy.”

In losses to the Bears and Jets this season, Revis has allowed just 5.3 yards per pass attempt to go with two touchdowns and three interceptions.

He also lost a fumble in each game and was reprimanded by Titans coach Brian Callahan for a red-zone fumble in Sunday's win over the Jets.

“I was pissed,” Callahan told reporters after the game. “It was a stupid thing to do. It was exactly what he did last week, cost us points in the red zone. That's the way it is. He's a grown man and knows better. I was really pissed that it cost us three points in a game that we probably needed.”

The Titans will host the Packers in Week 3.
