Why Kamala Harris would be DEVASTATING for small businesses

Kamala Harris claims that under her and Biden's leadership, a record 19 million small business applications have been filed. Glenn Beck Small business expert Carol Ross doesn't believe that.

“What is a small business application?” Ross begins. “When I started my business, I didn't have to apply at the federal level.”

“What does this mean? Because we have over 33 million small businesses in this country, and we're only seeing a net increase of less than 1 million per year. So how are we going to open up 19 million new applications? So far no one has been able to answer that for me,” Ross explained.

“It's funny,” Glenn replies, “I looked at the number 19 million small businesses and I thought that was just them starting new businesses to replace the ones they were putting out of business. So I thought they were just taking the credit for themselves, like creating jobs.”

Meanwhile, Kamala has been vocal in her support for pro-small business policies like the PRO Act, which Ross describes as a “national copy of the anti-gig worker, anti-independent contractor language from California's AB5 law.”

“They want to prioritize unions and big business and crush all the small businesses that rely on the gig economy and independent contractors,” Ross said. “It's really hard to say, 'I'm a small business, I'm a labor candidate,' and still be on board with these things.”

To put it as simply as possible, Ross sees Kamala's supposed support for small businesses as “like McDonald's supporting cows.”

Glenn completely agrees.

“Frankly, it seems like they're trying to impoverish small businesses and the middle class without lifting up any of them,” he said.
