Shocking video shows a brawl between two families at a Florida IHOP after a woman allegedly attacked a teenage girl who was making bad comments about her four children.
The fight happened Monday night in North Miami Beach when Precious Williams, 34, accused a 14-year-old girl who was at the restaurant with her family of making comments about other children between the ages of 3 and 8. Daily Mail Reported.
Footage obtained by NBC 6 South Florida shows what appears to be the boy's mother denying the allegations as Williams becomes more accusatory and aggressive.
“My son said one of them said something,” Williams yelled to other family members.
The other mother pleaded with Williams to leave because her children were at the table.
“Got it! I got four!” Williams yelled back as two men, who appeared to be her family, tried to break up the argument.
Suddenly, Williams allegedly lunged at the girl, who was still sitting at the table.
The video shows total chaos ensuing, with adult and minor members of both families allegedly joining the fight.
The 14-year-old girl appears to be pulling her hair in an attempt to escape the adult woman's grasp.
Police responded to the restaurant and arrested Williams, who was charged with child abuse and four counts of child abuse without serious injury.
Police body camera footage shows a female officer begging Williams, handcuffed in front of her children, to “stop making a fuss,” to which Williams responds, “I love my kids… I've never been a combative person.”
Ms Williams claimed in court that the fight began after her children were subjected to racial slurs.
Her lawyer, Matthew Goldkind, said the video was “indicating that someone [Williams] after that [her] “We will fight back.”
Prosecutors offered Williams a plea deal that included a year of probation and an anger management course, but Williams rejected it.
The judge reminded her that if convicted at trial she could face up to five years in state prison, but she still chose to take a chance.
