U.S. Olympic legend Simone Biles this week demonstrated her enduring affection for her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens.
Biles got a small “J” tattoo in tribute to Owens on her ring finger.
This was confirmed in a video posted by Biles' tattoo artist, Sydney Smith. Artist's Instagram.
The black tattoo is so small it's barely visible without magnification.
This isn't the only tattoo Biles got this week, as an artist inked a larger tattoo on the back of her neck that reads “MADE IN HEAVEN” in thin black font. Instagram Posts.

Biles won three gold medals at this summer's Paris Olympics, making her the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history. She accomplished all of this while being one of the oldest gymnasts in Olympic gymnastics history at age 27. Her gold medal represented the completion of a dramatic comeback for Biles, who withdrew from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics because of a “twist.”
“I'm really proud of her because I know how hard she's worked and what she's been through.” Owens told Fox News. Digitally in July. “And to have her come back and continue to be as fearless and as strong as she always has is just so amazing.”
“It's a testament to her character, her confidence and hard work. I can't wait to continue watching her dreams come true.”
Biles and Owens met on the celebrity dating app Raya and began dating in 2020, just as the COVID-19 pandemic began. At the time, Biles was living in her hometown of Houston, and Owens was playing for the Houston Texans. Owens played for the team from 2019 to 2022 as an undrafted role player, primarily on special teams. Owens said he didn't know Biles very well when they first met. At that point, Biles had already won four Olympic gold medals.
The two married in April 2023. Biles said the two often argued about which sport was better, soccer or gymnastics, and they argued so much that they had to agree to stop talking about it once they got married.

Owens caused controversy over their relationship in December when he appeared with Biles on the Pivot Podcast, in which he said he was the “sunshine” in their relationship. Owens maintained that no matter who has the most fame or sporting achievements, the man will always be the “sunshine” in a relationship.
During an April appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Biles said she was in the room during Owens' interview and didn't disagree with his comments.
“I thought everything was great and then everyone was on Twitter saying, 'Divorce this guy, he's mean,'” Biles said on the podcast, pointing out that people have a misconception. “He's the sweetest guy. He compliments me. I've never met a man like him, honestly.”
Biles had to defend her husband from online attackers in May when she posted a photo on social media thanking Owens for his support after winning the US Classic. After a flurry of critical comments, Biles posted an Instagram Story a few days later to address the backlash her husband was still receiving for his earlier comments.

“I am addressing this immediately. This joke is not a joke! You are clearly being disrespectful to my relationship and my husband. So I am just going to say it: With all due respect, get lost,” she wrote.
“If you continue to comment or tweet at me I will just block you. That's it. And I don't have to touch the grass or anything else you guys suggest…
“[For] To everyone who supports us, we love you all so much.”
