Trump Says He Will Not Accept Second Debate With Harris Since Voting Has Already Begun

“The problem with another debate is that it's too late because the voting has already started,” Trump said at a rally in Wilmington, N.C. “She had the opportunity to debate Fox, but she lost badly, so she wants to debate right before the election.”

Dillon said there should be no problem with Trump agreeing to the debate.

“Donald Trump should have no problem agreeing to this debate, which has the same format and structure as the June CNN debate that Trump participated in and won, praising CNN's moderator, rules and ratings,” Dillon said, referring to the June debate between Trump and Joe Biden that ultimately led the 81-year-old Trump to drop out of the 2024 race.

“I look forward to Vice President Harris having the opportunity to once again demonstrate her understanding of the issues at stake and that it's time to put an end to Donald Trump and chart a new course for America.”
