How to follow Anfield for Nottingham Forest? A first win since 1969 was the shock of the season so far, and it will take something fairly seismic to surpass it. Nuno is the Forest manager that many doubted, and many tipped for relegation. An unbeaten start to the season suggests otherwise.
\n Meanwhile, Brighton have begun brightly under Fabian Hurzeler, similarly unbeaten. Their manager’s 31, you know. Anyway, they’ve been playing fine football, if slightly bereft of the cutting edge that Graham Potter and Roberto de Zerbi often struggled to find.

So, there’s unbeaten records on the line. Let’s call it a draw? Nah, this could be a good, instructive match.

Main Events
14 min: You might think Chris Wood isn't the type to take penalty kicks, but maybe that's just a prejudice against tall players. That was brilliant. Nuno's use of Hudson-Odoi is already paying off.
Goals! Brighton 0-1 Nottingham Forest (Wood, 13)
There's no doubt about that either: a dribble to the left and no chance for Verbruggen.
Penalty for Forest!
Gibbs-White pounces, the ball slides in to Hudson-Odoi, but Bareva is clumsy. That's a saboteur. And Bareva knows it.
9 min: It was the closest they'd come so far. Rutter played a pass to Adlingla who sent the ball across goal, Welbeck trying to get it but just missing it.
7 min: There were a few high tackles and the ref told everyone to calm down because there was too much rough play.
6 min: Estopinan has been explosive, and is back from last season's injury with a flourish – he was once linked with a £60m sale to Brighton – while Haseler has been a bundle of energy on the bench, watching the screens and showing off his skills.
4 minutes: Morgan Gibbs-White climbs well and looks bruised but will play on. A quick free kick sees Hudson-Odoi sent off, ruled out for being too quick and offside.
2 min: A bad corner was cleared but Brighton kept pushing and Forest were probably happy to sit back. It all worked out well at Anfield in the end.
Departing with Amex
1 min: There was a good cheer from the Forest fans, again with Mal of Kintyre in his golden Cloughie days, but Brighton forced a corner.
Nuno also says: “Anthony [Elanga] and Column [Hudson-Odoi] “We'll try to take advantage of their talent. We'll try to be a compact, solid team and take advantage of our talent, space and creativity. We'll have to go out there and compete very well.”
Fabian Haseler was full of praise for Forest: “I think they have great players, a good style of play, a compact team and good defending. They also have very good transitions so when they win the ball they move quickly. They've made a great start to their Premier League campaign so that's not a surprise. It will be a big challenge for us.”
Nottingham ForestIt was a weekend of remembrance. It was 20 years ago on Friday that Brian Clough died.
Joao Pedro is in the Brighton squad but is on the bench.Callum Hudson-Odoi, who scored the winner against Liverpool in the final, will start for Nottingham Forest, with Anthony Elanga also up front. Simon Adingla will partner Mitoma Kaoru on the wing in place of Yankuba Minteh. Jack Hinshelwood has moved from left-back to midfield and looked a real talent, while the powerful Pervis Estupinan makes a long-awaited return.

Latest team news
Joao Pedro remains a doubt, having missed the last two games and presenting Haseler with goalscoring challenges, while Vladimir Gulda, Solly March, James Milner and Matt O'Reilly are all long-term absentees.
Forest are likely to be without Willy Boly and Ibrahim Sangare.
preamble
How will Nottingham Forest get through Anfield? Their first win since 1969 would be the shock of the season and it would take something pretty big to surpass it. Nuno is the Forest manager many suspected would be relegated, but their unbeaten start to the season suggests that's not the case.
Meanwhile, Brighton are also unbeaten after a strong start under manager Fabian Furzeler – you see, he's 31 – and, anyway, they continue to play some fine football, albeit lacking a bit of the sharpness that often plagued Graham Potter and Roberto De Zerbi.
So the unbeaten record is on the line. Shall we call it a draw? No, this could be a good, educational match.
Kick off at 2pm UK time, come join us!
