Donald Trump Jr. is accusing the Biden-Harris Justice Department of putting a “bounty” on his father by releasing a purported letter from Ryan Wesley Routh.
“What the heck?! Why is Kamala DOJ publicly announcing that Ryan Wesley Routh has a bounty on my father's head?” Don Jr. asked after the letter was made public.
The witness reportedly received a box of letters from Routh several months earlier, but did not open it until after the assassination attempt on September 14. One of the letters contained within the box was written to the world, confirming that Routh's recent actions were in fact an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. Additionally, in the letter, Routh offered to pay $150,000 to anyone who “completed the mission.”
“This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump and we are truly sorry that it disappointed you,” the letter read.
“I've done my best and I've put all the courage I had into it. It's up to you to finish the job. I'll offer $150,000 to whoever gets the job done,” it continues.
“Everyone around the world, young and old, knows that Trump is unfit to be anything, let alone the president of the United States. At the very least, a US president should embody the moral fabric of America – be kind, compassionate and selfless, and always stand up for humanity,” the paper added.
The contrast is striking. The Biden-Harris Justice Department Seemingly slow Revealing manifestos from past suspects.
The news comes as Florida continues its own investigation into a second assassination attempt on President Trump, but Governor Ron DeSantis says the federal government is not cooperating.
“This man, Ryan Routh, may have violated Florida law, so we have an obligation to investigate this, we have an obligation to bring appropriate charges and we also have an obligation to let the public know how this happened,” DeSantis said, formally referring the case to the state attorney's office, overseen by Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody (R).
