Television journalist anchor News NationRep. Chris Cuomo slammed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), a member of the far-left pro-Palestinian “Squad,” for criticizing Israel for using explosive pagers to eliminate Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon.

“The Israeli pager attack in Lebanon caused thousands of mobile devices to explode in multiple public spaces, severely injuring and killing innocent civilians. The attack clearly violates international humanitarian law and undermines U.S. efforts to prevent the escalation of the conflict. Congress demands a full accounting of the attack, including answers from the State Department about whether U.S. assistance was provided in the development or deployment of this technology,” AOC posted on Twitter.

New York Democrat calls Israel “clearly and unequivocally[ing] Cuomo is a prime-time news talk show host and advocate for international humanitarian law. News Nation The cable television channel criticized her for appearing to defend radical Islamic terrorists.

“Why don't you mention that the pager belonged to a member of a terrorist organization plotting to destroy Israel?” Governor Cuomo argued.

“Were you defending al-Qaeda when the U.S. was attacking them in Iraq?”

In her response to Governor Cuomo, Ocasio-Cortez said two children, including a 9-year-old Lebanese girl, were killed in the pager attack, which reportedly was the direct relative of a Hezbollah terrorist.

“Chris, what exactly did that murdered 9 year old girl do?” AOC wrote.

“To imply that anyone who questions the way the operation is being conducted, including civilian casualties, is on the side of the terrorists is a nasty reckoning with our past. Would you support re-entering Afghanistan?” she continued.

AOC’s response follows a unique pattern, as the Democratic congresswoman has a history of being accused of defending terrorists and civilians in Gaza who obey and approve of a Hamas-controlled government whose sole global goal is to destroy the State of Israel and its people.

According to a notable poll by the Foundation for Defense of Democracies published on March 20, 2024, “71% of Palestinians overall supported Hamas' decision to attack Israel on October 7.”

“While Secretary of State Antony Blinken tours the Middle East and talks about a two-state solution and a Palestinian state, the main obstacle to such a plan remains: radicalized Palestinians who support terrorism against Israel rather than peace negotiations,” said Richard Goldberg, FDD senior adviser.

Meanwhile, Cuomo added on Friday's broadcast that Ocasio-Cortez's criticism of Israel was “completely wrong.” News NationHe specifically questioned whether hiding a bomb inside a pager sent directly to a radical Islamic terrorist who wants the deaths of Israel and the United States “violates U.S. law.”

“First, Israel is not part of the United States and is not subject to U.S. laws and regulations,” Cuomo reminded her. “Second, if lawmakers are using that comparison to suggest the U.S. should not support Israel, good luck to them.”

Cuomo argued that Israel was clearly justified in adopting careful and intelligent tactics. “A group of bloodthirsty terrorists is [were] come [them].”

“So she didn't read that part because she's not a lawyer, because she wasn't thorough, or because she purposely didn't want to be impartial?”

He also noted that Ocasio-Cortez conveniently forgot to mention the recent violence and bomb threats against Rep. Ana Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) and other conservative politicians.

“And she hasn't said anything about the assassination attempt on former President Trump,” Cuomo emphasized. “She clearly doesn't value her opponent as a person as much as she does,” he said of Ocasio-Cortez.

“That's a bigger problem than her misinterpreting the law and charging a besieged ally with war crimes.”
