A Boston restaurant serving unique lobster rolls wants to help couples take the next step.
A Paulis North End restaurant is celebrating National Lobster Day on September 25 by serving up a giant lobster roll complete with an engagement ring.
The “USS Lobstitution” features 28 ounces of fresh lobster knuckle and claw meat paired with a certified 1-5/8 carat round cut diamond halo ring, valued at $10,000.

The roll can be purchased without the ring for just under $100.

Restaurant owner Paul Barker told Fox News Digital that there has been a lot of interest in the special offer so far.

“We've always enjoyed organizing promotions like this, and the idea of proposing in front of friends and family in a restaurant is so Boston,” Barker said.
“That's a fun idea.”

According to multiple wedding publications, the holiday season from November to February is the most popular time to get engaged.
Paulis will close the restaurant for the couple's friends and family to make the proposal even more special.

The shellfish is sourced fresh from Maine, the largest producer of lobster.

According to the state government website, Maine's commercial catch was 93,734,116 pounds of lobster, with a total value of $464,371,720.
