JD Vance bashes Harris for choosing biased MSNBC host for second interview: ‘This is legitimately pathetic’

Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance slammed Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris after she announced that her second interview would be with a liberal-leaning MSNBC host.

The Harris-Waltz campaign announced that the presidential candidate will be interviewed by Stephanie Ruhle, a former editor and anchor for Bloomberg News. Harris has been criticized for refusing to answer questions from reporters since winning the nomination from President Joe Biden.

“Kamala can't defend her record so she's avoiding the tough questions.”

Vance used the announcement to attack his political opponents.

“For someone who wants to be president, this is really pathetic,” he said. Written On the X platform.

“Rhule is a clear supporter of Harris. Harris doesn't ask the hard questions. Kamala avoids the hard questions because she can't defend her record. If you want open borders and higher food prices, vote for Kamala, who keeps things as they are.”

Others pointed out that while Mr. Ruhle had been vocal in recent days about his support for Ms. Harris and his vehement opposition to Mr. Trump, he had also defended her refusal to answer tough questions from the media.

“Kamala Harris is not running to be perfect. She's running against Trump. We have two choices.” said Ruhle was a guest on Bill Maher's show.

“So sometimes we don't know what her answers are,” she added. “And in 2024, unlike 2016 for many Americans, they know exactly what Trump will do, who he is, and what a threat he is to democracy.”

The interview between Ruhle and Harris is scheduled to air Wednesday night.
