Melania Calls Trump’s Survival Of 2 Assassination Attempts A ‘Miracle’ In First TV Interview In Years

Former first lady Melania Trump appeared in her first television interview in more than two years on Wednesday, reflecting on the two assassination attempts on her husband Donald Trump and her feelings about the current state of the country.

Melania Trump spoke on “Fox & Friends” about her immediate reaction to the July 13 incident.th Former president's ear was grazed by a bullet while on stage during the Butler shooting in Pennsylvania.

“If you think about it, July 13th was a miracle. It was like that and he couldn't be with us,” she said, adding that the bullet struck her husband in the head. He held up a finger to show how close he was.

First lady Melania Trump also spoke about her personal experience hearing about the second assassination attempt on September 15th.th While in New York City.

“I saw it on TV,” she told the show's co-host Ainsley Earhart. “As soon as I saw it on TV, I called again and it was fine, because the Secret Service was great.”

“And I think both events were truly miraculous,” Melania added.

Melania also speculated about why her husband has been repeatedly targeted.

“I hear opposition leaders and mainstream media labeling him as: [a] He was a threat to democracy and called him vile names. [They’re] It only fuels the toxic atmosphere and the people they sought to harm, and this needs to stop,” Mrs. Trump insisted.

First lady Melania also explained her thoughts on the turmoil the country is currently in under the Biden administration compared to her husband's administration.

“The country is suffering. People can't buy normal necessities for their families. There are wars going on all over the world. Soldiers are dying. Because of weak leadership under this regime, they It was dying. The border is open and it's dangerous. There's a lot of fentanyl coming in and killing our young people. It's very hard to watch.

“[The economy] That's not really great. Inflation is high and if you compare his four years under this administration to his four years under my husband as commander in chief, he led the country through peace through strength. . And our borders have never been more secure. We had no war. People were thriving. they had jobs. I think the American people need to decide what they really want because they can support their families. “Maybe there will be a few strong tweets, but everything else is great for this country, so on November 5th it will all be in the hands of the American people,” she concluded.
