“Veep” actor Julia Louis-Dreyfus said on Friday's show that her role on the hit HBO show is “not Kamala Harris' type.” Appeared on MSNBC Instead, he compared the hypothetical vice president to former President Trump.
“You could say I'm playing a very narcissistic, sociopathic, very maniac type of person. I'm not a Kamala Harris type of person,” Louis-Dreyfus said. She spoke to anchor Ari Melber about her role as Selina Meyer. “Maybe I'm more like someone whose name I won't even speak.”
The favorable mention of Harris and Trump's criticism came just days before Louis-Dreyfus attended a “Veep” reunion to raise money for the Wisconsin Democratic Party, where Harris leads Trump by 2 points. The performers will read episodes from the HBO television show, and Stephen Colbert will emcee the event.
Louis-Dreyfus also hosted a panel discussion at last month's Democratic National Convention, which was also attended by eight Democratic female governors, including Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (Michigan) and Gov. Katie Hobbs (Arizona).
