Author and evangelist Jonathan Cahn never intended to write his latest book, “Dragon Prophecy: Israel, the Dark Resurrection, and the End of Days.'' Rather, as he said in an on-camera interview, current events only forced his hand.
“I felt like I was interrupted by everything that was going on in the Middle East,” Khan said in a video interview from New Jersey. Khan is the leader of Beth Israel/Jerusalem Center, a Messianic congregation in Wayne, New Jersey. (See the video at the top of this article.)
Mr. Kahn has written other books, but “never before has he written one that goes so far into the whole realm of what is actually happening, the prophecies of the Bible that are now coming true,” he said.

Khan began writing the book in January. The film was released on September 3rd. He said the process of writing “Dragon's Prophecy” was different for him than writing any other book.
As he wrote, “things were getting real,” he said. “So I had to keep updating the book.”

Although it hit the bestseller list shortly after its release, Khan told FOX News Digital that he never expected that to happen. (His first book, “The Harbinger,” like his other books, became a New York Times bestseller.)
“There's a real hunger going on. I've never seen a response like this,” he said of the new book. “This is different.”
Mr. Khan was originally an atheist, but said he became a believer under the influence of Bible prophecies.
He was raised in a Jewish family and is now a “follower of Jesus.”

“I never thought that what was written in the Bible would actually come true, starting with the restoration of Israel,” he says.
“In the Book of Revelation, the enemy is depicted as a dragon in a vision.”
”[The Bible] He said it would happen. “They shall be gathered together of the Jews from the ends of the earth, and shall become a nation again.'' Well, here we are. ”
The title, “Prophecy of the Dragon,” is a reference to the Book of Revelation, Khan told FOX News Digital. “The enemy is depicted as a dragon in the vision of the apocalypse,” he said.
In Revelation 12, the dragon “is at war with the woman,” Khan said.

Some people, including Khan, interpret this woman to represent Israel.
“That's what's happening now,” he said.
Khan wrote about this prophecy in his book.
“The biggest part, the biggest section, of 'Dragon's Prophecy' is called 'Doomsday,'” he said.
“And the Bible, from the time of Moses all the way to the New Testament, talks about something called the end times,” Kahn said.

The Bible also states that no one knows the “day or hour” of Christ's return, but it also states that there will be some signs to look out for, and Kahn believes those signs will occur. It says that there are.
“On the one hand, they say you will know it too, because the state of Israel is coming back into the world – it should have been dead for a long time – [it] They will gather again. The Jews will return to the land. Well, it happened,” he said.
Khan continued: “It says Jews will return to the streets of Jerusalem. Yes, by the way, that happened in 1967.”
“It says all countries will focus on the Middle East.”
Christ's second coming “cannot happen unless the Jews are in Jerusalem,” he said.
“One more thing. It says all the countries are going to focus on the Middle East and focus on Israel, this little piece of land the size of New Jersey. And the countries are going to be furious against the Jews and against Israel. He would be furious.”
“It's happening,” he added, referring to a spike in anti-Semitism over the past year.

“So there's a checklist. You can check all of these things off,” Khan said.
“I don't know the exact moment [Christ will return]but we know the season and we are in it. ”

Khan said he wants people to know that the Bible reveals who will ultimately win this battle.
“As you know, for 4,000 years the world has been trying to destroy the state of Israel, the Jewish people, the enemy, the Dragon,” he said.

Despite this, the Jewish people survived, and those who tried to destroy them, from ancient times to modern times, “are all gone,” Kahn said.
“So if you follow the God of Israel, if you follow Jesus the Messiah of Israel, you will live. You will prevail,” he said.
