Lynyrd Skynyrd's Johnny Van Zandt is thanking fans for their prayers and support after his youngest daughter Taylor was hospitalized last week.

On Sunday, Van Zandt shared an updated video about his condition and thanked everyone for the prayers and support.

He explained that Taylor was diagnosed with cavernoma, or cavernous malformation of the brain. This is a “collection of small, thin-walled, densely packed, irregular blood vessels.” According to the Mayo Clinic.

In Van Zandt's experience, they can leak blood from the brain or spinal cord and look like “clusters of grapes.”
